HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pa. -- NBC's "Nashville Star" TV show has a lot of people dreaming big, but a Hollidaysburg girl is already making it on the big stage.Elaini Arthur is no ordinary 14-year-old girl. She juggles her home-schooling with time for practice and hits the road almost every weekend. But Arthur is a "natural" singer and songwriter."I picked it up by ear. The songs just come to me and the music I just put it together," she said. The Hollidaysburg native has been singing traditional country music since she was 5 years old, when she performed in a talent show at school and the kids liked her voice. Since then, she's been picking up the tunes of Patsy Kline and Porter Wagoner. And she has met some of the stars at her own shows in Nashville and venues in West Virginia.Arthur still makes time to get autographs from all the famous country singers when she's on the road, but she also hands out a fair share of her own. She recorded her first album last year, singing eight songs she wrote by herself.Arthur said she's working on a lot more songs. And her talent has become a family affair. Her grandmother has made a lot of her costumes.Arthur's family is helping her dream even bigger."It's a career I want to pursue. I want to become a Grand Ole Opry member," said Arthur.
