Future Nittany Lion Christian Villeux is headed to The Elite 11 quarterback showcase to be featured among a collection of the nation's top quarterback prospects. The roster of talent was announced on Friday afternoon.

The event will host 20 of the top passers of the 2021 class from June 29-July 1 in Nashville, Tennessee. A four-star standout, Villeux hits the scales at 6-foot-4, 200-pounds and is rated the nation’s No. 16 pro-style quarterback by the 247 Network.

Former Nittany Lion quarterback Christian Hackenberg and current quarterback Sean Clifford both once appeared at the Elite 11 event as well as former backups Jack Zembiec and Tommy Stevens.

Villeux is Penn State's only quarterback commit for the 2021 class and will head to campus for what would be Clifford's senior season if the rising junior opts to return following the 2020 campaign.

Sophomore quarterback Michael Johnson Jr entered the transfer portal earlier this month leaving Will Levis and sophomore TaQuan Roberson as the primary back-up options behind Clifford.
