Forty-two bottles of a cologne branded as "Fierce" were reported stolen about 2:40 p.m. Thursday at Abercrombie and Fitch, 134 S. Allen St., State College police said Friday.
The stolen merchandise, valued at $2,600, includes 18 3.4-ounce bottles valued at $74 apiece and 24 1.7-ounce bottles valued at $54 apiece, according to a police report.
Two people -- a man with black, spiky hair and a blond woman -- are believed to have been involved in the theft, police said. They are thought to have been carrying a large, grocery-hauling-type bag made of mesh.
Both appeared to be in their 20s, though their identities are not known, police said. No surveillance videos and no leads were immediately available in the matter, according to the report. It wasn't clear exactly how the theft was executed.
Also Friday, police said a 14-year-old student at State College Area High School was caught drinking Thursday afternoon in a shop class. She had mixed Bacardi into iced tea, according to a police report.
Police said her parents were notified and that the school is handling disciplinary action.
