Penn State Altoona prepares for the catwalk

Prada has nothing on Penn State Altoona. The Black Student Union will present its annual fashion show, "Transformation Configuration, It's a Barbie's World," April 12 in the Adler gym. This is one of the most popular events on campus and features girls and guys portraying Barbie and Ken dolls. Thirty-four students will model clothing that they made themselves.

The show starts at 7 p.m. with an opening step routine performed by Phi Beta Sigma fraternity. There is an after-party from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. in the Slep Student Center. The event is appropriate for the entire community and benefits the Black Student Union.

Tickets go on sale Monday, March 17. They are $7 in advance and $12 at the door. Contact sdn5011@psu.edu, bal5070@psu.edu or aco118@psu.edu for information.
