Earth, Wind And Fire Coming To The Bryce Jordan Center

Earth, Wind and Fire, along with soul singer and songwriter Michael McDonald will perform at the Bryce Jordan Center on Sunday, September 14th at 7:30 p.m.
Earth, Wind and Fire's line-up currently includes four founding members of the group. Throughout their entire career, the African-American funk band has recorded 23 albums and in 2000, the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Michael McDonald was a background singer for Steely Dan in the mid-70's before becoming the lead singer of the Doobie Brothers in the late 70's. In 1982, McDonald embarked on a solo career and released such songs as I Keep Forgettin' (Every Time You're Near) and If That's What It Takes.
McDonald released his latest album, Soul Speak in March.
Tickets to the concert go on sale Saturday, June 21st, at 10 a.m. Tickets are $47.50 and $55.00. There are a limited amount of University Park Penn State student tickets available at $25. Tickets can be purchase at the Bryce Jordan Ticket Center, Penn State Tickets Downtown, the Altoona Campus ticket outlet, all Ticketmaster locations, and online at www.bjc.psu.edu.
