The Island

Every bar has its ups and downs! The last time i was there i was very shocked that over all these years of making money they havent fixed their damn parking lot yet! i always see girls in heels falling climbing down the steep road from the upper lots!

in the days the cop had to show up for all the shoutings

It is nice but I always hated the small tiny bathrooms. Dj,s are normally great! It doesn't take that long to get a drink, 5 minutes maybe. The bouncers do their job, and if they are "Overly agressive" then you must be causing trouble then!!!

Me and my girly went there lastnight, OMG....amazing....COUDLN"T OF HAD A BETTER TIME>.....Only thing= bathrooms to small

Me and my girls go to the island when we go out. I'm really surprised at the comments on security. That's the best part of the island...its the only club in the area where you can feel safe!

Overly agressive bouncers, slow service, dirty ignorant ghetto wanna bees. Crappy hip hop type music you can't dance to unless your a monkey chasing a banana! Not enough bathrooms for the crowd either.

Security is a bunch of red necks that couldnt get a real job. Takes 30 mins just to get a drink. And a lot of riff raff go there.

Crowd is generally dirty trailer trash or ghetto wanna be types. This would be on my list for favorite places to be closed down. Careful what you touch or just might end up with a nasty splinter. Security has the I.Q. of a rock.

I love going to the Island. It is the only bar that has karaoke and a DJ at the same time. My girlfriend dances while I sing and they have enough security that I feel safe leaving her dance with her friends! We are going back next weekend!

I used to go to the Island almost every weekend. Now it just seems like the place is full of dirty people. The bouncers look like retired janitors who couldn't bounce a 6 year old. Wouldn't recommend if you dont like the dirty low class crowd

I think the Island is an awesome bar. I usually go to the bars in or around Cumberland, Md. and after visiting "The Island" I can honestly say that I dont think that Im ever going to another bar in Cumberland again.

HUGE place yes but it use to be bigger ... the only down fall it is more of a pain in the a$$ to get a drink .. BUT on the pus side the dj is good

love the island.. ive been there 5 times now and had a blast everytime. it does take a little to get a drink but when there is that meany people there what do you exspect. if you dont have five mins to wait on a drink you got problums

I think it is a fun place to hangout. As long as you are young and want to go dance it is a great place. I have no problem getting a drink. Now the prices of the drinks are rather high they could lower them.
